I'm David Manson, director of the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival and the parent nonprofit arts organization, EMIT. EMIT has presented over 400 concerts & workshops since inception in 1995, but the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival promises to be our greatest achievement. I am very excited about the great potential this festival has and its contribution to the arts in the Tampa Bay area!
The festival brings the community together to celebrate jazz, an American music form loved around the world. Most of our funding goes directly to the performing jazz artists, but we also need funds for marketing and production costs. Any amount will help us make the 2018 St. Petersburg Jazz Festival, scheduled February 21-25, a truly memorable jazz event. Join us as we make this new jazz festival a major Florida event!
